Abstract

This paper presents a pixel circuit that reduces the Low Conversion Gain (LCG) reset noise without adding additional transistors to the pixel for High Dynamic Range (HDR) CMOS image sensors using a Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor (LOFIC). The proposed Two Step Reset (TSR) LOFIC-CIS aims to reduce the SNR gap between High Conversion Gain (HCG) and LCG modes, contributing to improved imaging under varying illumination conditions.
