WORKSHOP PAPER
A 40000fps global shutter image sensor with 26.7ns 12-bit row readout time
Abstract
This paper presents a global shutter image sensor with an ultra-high-speed readout of 40000 frames per second (fps) for scientific applications. It highlights the sensor architecture that enables this high-speed performance, especially focusing on the novel ramp analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and techniques to further increase the speed for next-generation high-speed sensors. Keywords
